New Chapter in Life...

Well it has been a long time since I have blogged.  I am really bad at this!  But if you didn't already know we are pregnant with twins!  Tim and I have become doubly blessed.  We couldn't be more excited.  I am currently 18 weeks 5 days and I am feeling them move around like crazy.  I had my monthly doctor check up today.  My uterus is still measuring a month ahead because of the twins and I am continuing to gain weight.  Although I don't feel like the dreadful number on the scale.  I figure this is the only time in my life I will weigh that and just make that a goal.  I was able to listen to both heart beats today.   The one on the left today was at 140 and the one at the right was 165.  I love every time I can hear that but the ultra sounds are more fun and it has been almost 6 weeks since the last one.  Next week will be the BIG one.  The anatomy scan aka gender reveal!  The appointment is an hour and a half.  I am really, really looking forward to staring at my babies for that long.  Although, I think they have to do an internal ultrasound at some point during this one to measure my cervix.  Ick.  I hate those.  They are so uncomfortable!  Then Labor Day Tim and I will be doing our gender reveal party!  We will be having close friends and family over to tell them all at once.  I am really excited about this and hope I am able to keep a secret for a few days!  My wonderful friend Nicole is going to make the cake.  She is an amazing cook/baker!  I am excited to see what she comes up with.  I also can't wait to start registering and start shopping for these little ones.

Now if that wasn't enough, we also bought a house recently.  Back in Gilbert!  haha.  Our goal was to move closer into town so we would be close to my mom.  Well then we got the bright idea of living together.  So that's when the home search started.  Wow that was an ordeal.  I am so happy that we wont be doing that again.  We found a 5 bedroom tri level home in Gilbert.  We love it!  My mom has her own wing to the house.  (2 beds, 1 bath and a living room), then we just share the main level with the dining room and kitchen.  Did I mention the house has a pool!?  Something I have always wanted.  I am so excited once its fixed to finally use it because my OB said that is the best thing for pregnancy.

I have to say after having a horrible 2011; 2012 is turning out to be THE MOST FANTASTIC year!  Who knows maybe the twins will arrive this year as well.  ;)  Twins are always born early.  Oh and did I mention football officially starts soon! WOOHOO

Until next time,

House Hunting

It has been awhile since I last updated my blog.  In that time we sold our home.  It took only 8 days!  We were surprised that it would sell that fast and that we would come out ahead as well, since we only bought 3 years ago.  The main reason for us moving is we wanted to move more into town.  We lived about 15 to 20 minutes from my family. And also our back yard was too small and we really want a pool. Also we lived next to powerlines, which my dad told me cause a lot of problems and also bad for resale in the future.  We have an offer accepted on a short sale currently and just waiting for the slow banks to take their time to hand it over to us! Haha, that is if nothing goes wrong. It is located in Chandler a three bedroom, 2 bath house with a pool in the back yard.  :)  Much closer to family plus a pool!  This housing market currently is horrible for buyers.  Outbid left and right especially by cash buyers.  We have fallen in love with about 4 houses now and have been outbid so I have not become excited quite yet on the house we are in a contract with right now because we have been let down so many times.  Keep your fingers crossed for us! :)  In the meantime our stuff is in storage, which is a huge pain in the but because I don't have access to a lot of my things.  We have moved in with my mom in Tempe.  It has been a fun and cramped experience.  3 dogs and 3 people in a 1200sq foot home is a bit much.  To top it off we are sleeping in a fulls size bed when we were used to our king! Wow what a difference.  But it has been a lot of fun living with my mom and I am sure she enjoys it too :)

This house buying stuff has also kept my mind off the "baby" stuff.  Which has been nice. We still are not using any help and trying the natural way. Maybe this is why I am going through this struggle is to be a stronger person. But believe me the month after month let down gets me down for a day but then I am back to thinking its going to be next month!  I refuse to think it will never happen, although we have a deadline if we don't have a child by 30 we will go through with adopting a child.  But I still can't help but think that this would've been my first mothers day. :(

Anyways, who is ready for the hot summer?!  I am!  I am hoping we get this home so we can have a fourth of July party, but at this rate that wont be happening :(

I'm back again

Wow, the last time I wrote something was December 27th, and here it is February 27th! 2 months have gone by! Time flies by when you are having fun right?!

I have really gotten into working out these days. Actually both Tim and I are really into it! We go just about everyday. I go to a Zumba class at least 3 times a week and I absolutely love it. I highly recommend it to everyone.

In the meantime as well Tim and I decided to stop doing the fertility treatment. It was becoming too expensive plus it was making me depressed when I found out 2 months in a row that it didn't work. We are going to try the natural route. I got pregnant once right?! And now that I have "normal" uterus hopefully things will work out. I have an appointment this Friday at a chiropractor. Apparently, they can help you with fertility naturally which works for me! Why not try right? I am trying to have a positive look out on it, and it really has helped. I am all about trying natural. I have stopped caffiene because apparently this is another thing that prevents pregnacny? I'll take anything at this point that is easy for me to do. I try not to think daily about pregnancy although face book makes this VERY, VERY hard. I actually have thought about inactivating my page once and awhile but I love the coupons and deals I see daily posted! Maybe sometime soon I will. Yesterday we went to the Renaissance festival. We went with some friends and Tim's cousins and child Logan. Logan's parents had to run some errands so we kept Logan with us a little longer. Tim told me on the ride home that he loved having the responsibility of a child and is ready for this! It brought tears to my eyes because I know and have known for a long time that we are SO ready! But it is nice to hear Tim say it out loud. I think he holds it in a lot because he knows how badly I want it and he wants to be strong for us. It has to happen soon it just has too!

My brother has recently moved in. This has brought on some fun and also some getting used too. I am a very neat person, and well my brother not so much. It takes all of my sometimes to just turn my head as I pass his room etc. Oh well...

Btw, I just celebrated my 10 years at Children's Dental Village aka my job. Wow, I can't believe that! I am getting old.

Until next time,
